The GBF STEM College Scholarship, formerly known as the GBF-Gokongwei Group STEM Scholarship for Excellence, supports outstanding college students pursuing GBF priority STEM courses. The scholarship is granted to students who possess good academic record, demonstrate leadership potential and community involvement, and require financial assistance to pursue higher education.
Aside from financial assistance, GBF scholars also enjoy scholar development programs including leadership training and upskilling activities, and on-the-job training and employment opportunity within the Gokongwei Group.
Interested applicants are invited to check their eligibility via bit.ly/GBFSTEMCollege-OL2026. Access to the online application link will be provided to eligible applicants thru email. Qualified applicants will be invited to a live online exam and panel interview.

Scholars of the GBF-Gokongwei Group STEM Scholarship for Excellence shall receive the following benefits until graduation from their degree program, subject to compliance with scholarship retention requirements every semester:
Fixed annual financial grant ranging from ₱80,000 to ₱120,000, depending on the university (Sent directly to a scholar’s bank account)
Scholar development programs
Access to scholar development programs (e.g., leadership development, upskilling)
Internship opportunity in the partner Gokongwei Group business unit
Employment opportunity in the Gokongwei Group (Subject to company vacancy and passing of all pre-employment requirements)
Must have an outstanding academic record with a general weighted average of 85% or 2.0 or its equivalent
Must be of good moral standing and exhibit active participation and involvement in extra-curricular activities
Must be in need of financial support to complete their studies
Proof of Academic Standing
For incoming college students
Certified True Copy of Grades - Grade 12 report card or Form 137
Notice of Admission or Proof of University Application for AY 26-27
For continuing college students (2nd year and above)
Certified True Copy of Grades from the past 2 consecutive semesters (2nd/3rd term AY 24-25 & 1st term AY 25-26)
Proof of annual household income (any of the following documents)
If parent is/parents are employed in private or public sector or self-employed, submit either of the following:
Recently filed 2025 Annual Income Tax Return (ITR): Form 2303 (employed) or Form 1701 (self-employed)
Certificate of Employment with Salary of family members contributing to household income (dated 2025)
Employment contract with salary for OFW
Proof of Pension
If parent does/parents do not have a regular source of income, and are exempted from filing taxes:
BIR Tax Exemption Certificate (To be submitted later upon) successful application).
