368 STEM teachers all over the Philippines gathered virtually for the GBF STEM Collab Achievers Meetup last May 3, 2025. With its theme SummerSaya 2025, the event was filled with heartwarming stories, fun and engaging games, and exciting announcements about upcoming GBF STEM Collab activities.
One of the highlights of the event was the Ka-Collab Achiever Awards, where teachers were recognized for their active participation in learning sessions and community engagement. DepEd Regional and Schools Division Offices (SDOs) with a high number of active Ka-Collabs were also honored. The event was filled with applause and heart reactions as the participants cheered for fellow teachers who were awarded.

Among those who shared their stories was Ka-Collab Vina, who highlighted the value of the STEM Collab webinars held last school year. “As a Math teacher, one of the best things I learned from the STEM Collab learning series was the Mathematical Framework. It helped us create ILSA (International Large-Scale Assessments)-like problems,” she said, proudly showing her notes from the ILSA Series conducted last February.
Ka-Collab Roman also expressed his appreciation for the webinars, which introduced him to new educational philosophies. “I’m very thankful that we have the STEM Collab community. It keeps us updated and gives us the chance to learn from one another,” he shared.
Ka-Collab Cecille, a new Science teacher, credited the learning sessions to helping her build a strong foundation in teaching. “GBF STEM Collab helped me discover a variety of effective, evidence-based teaching strategies and ways to create a positive learning environment for my students,” she shared.
GBF STEM Collab is a dynamic community of STEM educators enhancing their knowledge and skills through learning sessions, community engagement, and peer learning.
