Robinsons Appliances Corporation and Gokongwei Brothers Foundation Donate Electric Fans to LGUS, Health Facilities

The beneficiaries of the electric fans donated by the Gokongwei Group—health centers, churches, offices, schools, and more—are public spaces where people gather to avail of government services and convene for long periods of time, so ensuring their comfort, especially in the Philippines’ tropical weather and hot temperatures is very important.

The Robinsons Appliances Corporation (RAC) and the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF), in partnership with various Gokongwei Group companies, donated electric fans to these organizations.

The following Gokongwei Group business units participated in this initiative. 

JG Summit Petrochemicals Corporation distributed donated electric fans to Barangay Health Centers in Simlong, Pinamucan Ibaba, Pinamucan Proper, Pinamucan Silangan, Mabacong, and Malibayo, plus the DOH Provincial Office in Batangas, Batangas Medical Center - Pediatric Ward, and Batangas City Health Office;

Universal Robina Corporation - Sugar and Renewables Group (URC SURE) - Balayan distributed donations to Barangay Agoncillo in Lemery, and Barangay Magabe, Barangay Dao, Barangay Lagnas, Barangay Dao, Tuy, Barangay Guinhawa, and Barangay Obispo in Balayan; 

While Robinsons Land Corporation distributed donations to Asilo de San Vicente De Paul, Hospicio de San Jose, Immaculate Parish Church, Barangay Kaunlaran Office, Malolos Home for the Aged, and the Philippine General Hospital; and lastly,  

Gokongwei Brothers Foundation distributed donations to San Pablo City General Hospital, Lung Center of the Philippines, Marikina City Hall, TESDA Laguna, Public Order and Safety Office - Calamba, and Barangay Maunong in Calamba.

Robinsons Appliances Corporation together with the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation and the other Gokongwei Group business units hope that these electric fans will help provide comfort to all the beneficiaries.
