In Photos: 10,000 Hospital Frontliners Receive Easter Lunch Treat from GBF, Ministop

A simple tribute to frontline heroes on a day symbolizing hope and rebirth

Over 10,000 hospital frontliners, who give us hope in our battle against COVID-19, were given an Easter lunch treat of Ministop’s signature Uncle John’s Fried Chicken meal. The simple tribute, which coincided on a day that symbolizes hope and rebirth, was a joint undertaking by the Gokongwei Brothers Foundation (GBF), the philanthropic arm of the Gokongwei Group of companies, and Ministop.

The meal was prepared and delivered personally by the Ministop crew to 60 hospitals composed of GBF priority hospital partners in Metro Manila and Ministop neighborhood hospitals. It came with a specially-written thank you message from GBF that states: “A hope-filled Easter Sunday to our hero frontliners! Isang taos-pusong pasasalamat sa inyo. Hindi namin malilimutan ang inyong sakripisyo.”

The Gokongwei Group's Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc. is the master franchisee of Ministop in the Philippines which has 511 branches nationwide.
